Seven days of everything, no card. Start it when you are ready to sell. It opens when the preview program ends; until then every builder is on Preview.

The 7% fee on sales is separate

A package is what you pay Monaiq for the platform. The platform fee is what Monaiq takes when you make a sale: 7% of each payment your customer makes, with the rest paid out to your own Stripe account. The two are not the same charge and neither replaces the other.

The fee has not changed and is not changing with the packages. It applies to every payment on a subscription, not only the first, and it is reversed in proportion when you refund a sale. The pricing and fees page in the docs states it in full, and the seller agreement is the document that governs.

What no package ever limits

Your customers are not on your package. None of this depends on which one you hold, and none of it stops if you stop paying us.

What does it cost right now?
Nothing. Monaiq is in a preview program, and every builder can hold the Preview plan: Free every month, the top package’s allowances, no credit card. You pick it up in one click from the become-a-seller wizard. The 7% fee still applies to sales you make.
Do I need a credit card?
Not to start. The Preview package takes no card, the 7-day Trial takes no card, and creating an account, listing free offerings and buying from other builders never needed one. You give us card details when you buy a paid package, and you connect Stripe when you want to be paid for your own sales.
What happens when the preview ends?
New sign-ups to Preview stop first. Your Preview package keeps running at Free until we give you notice, and when that notice runs out you pick a package or start the 7-day Trial. Nothing is switched off without telling you, and licenses you have already issued to your customers are unaffected either way.
Are these prices final?
No. They are introductory, and so are the allowances beside them. The point of the preview program is to find out what builders actually do with the platform, so the numbers may change before general availability. What will not change quietly is your own arrangement: you are told before a price you are paying moves.
Can I move between packages?
Yes, in either direction, and it is the same motion both ways: buy the package you want. It takes effect when you buy it and replaces the one you were on. Changes are not prorated, so the package you are leaving is not refunded for the rest of its month.
What happens if I go over an allowance?
You hear about it first. The counts on a package are allowances rather than hard walls: you get warnings as you approach one, and only well past it do NEW sales pause on the package you are on. Licenses already issued keep validating, usage keeps being recorded, and moving up a package clears it.
Does the package change what my customers pay?
No. Your customers pay the price you set, on the schedule you set, in the currency you set, and Monaiq adds nothing to it at checkout. Your package is between you and us.
How does Monaiq handle the money?
Through Stripe. You connect a Stripe account during seller onboarding, your buyers pay through Stripe Checkout, and Stripe pays out to your bank. Monaiq never sees a card number or your bank details.
